As already noted

As already noted, they are very difficult to fit because the hole centre is obstructed by the handle. They aren’t spring loaded so you have to turn the handle on closer to push the latch into the door frame. They have a nice Victorian look but wouldn’t recommend. I’m gradually trying to find what I need at other stores and it’s taken a while to realise that a store I’ve used for 30 years is often overpriced.

Door knobs

Brought the knobs for the bathroom and kitchen doors. When you try to screw the screws in, it's very hard as the knob is in the way. Should be able to put the plate on first than screw the knob on after

Excellent

Bought this to replace brass fittings and very pleased with the quality of the handles

YOU WILL REGRET BUYING AND FITTING THESE HANDLES

I've just fitted 3 doors today with these handles which the customer supplied, the handles are not self sprung which means completely relying on the spring in the latch to completely engage, they are supplied with flat head/slotted screw's (it's 2022 not 1922!) which are on display ,also the handle it's self impedes drilling a pilot hole for the slotted screw's straight, for the lovely budget blunt flat head screw's to sit in the countersunk in the handle housing. I advise customer to change if not happy with them further down the road as these handles are really not up to scratch - buy cheap buy twice !

Rubbish

Handles have no spring, just spin by themselves so unless the spindle is trimmed to the perfect length, they won't spring back on the latches spring. However the latch hole has no stopper and they don't tell you how long the latch needs to be per handle to even if you correctly guessed the length for the spindle to keep the spring, it would only slip into one of the handles over time and you'd be stuck in a room

Perfect. Dont listen to the DIY crew

I'm a joiner of 15 years and my customer wanted these fitted. The spindle is a good length that be cut down to the suitable length for your door. Handle dry fitted and pilot holes drilled prior to the slotted decorative screws being fitted. To the DIY gang and the moans.. The Spindles can be cut appropriate to the door thickness, think about it the manufacturers dont personally know how think your door is. To this who cant screw in the slotted screws. Make a pilot hole. these screws are more appealing than a philips screw which is why you don't get philips screws with handles. The handle covers the screw holes. A piloted hole at the correct angle and correctly and neatly offered up screw will give an acceptable level of finish. this was you see you dont end up with a large back plate on your handles. The door latch is tight or it doesn't close properly. Your handles aren't installed level with the handle on the opposite side so the spindle in the latch is tight and not smooth. its a handle installed correctly it'll do the job. boom, job done

Don't waste your time or money

For starters the clear plastic that is heat sealed to the knobs takes the patients of a Saint to get off and your left trying to peel little bits of plastic off. The actual knob is in the way of the flat head screws to be able to screw it in with ease, the return is that stiff it stays in open position. Dont waste your time or money!!

Great knobs

Good quality product stylist good they come in large packs

chazm3 - 1 / 5 - 24/01/2021

absolute rubbish

very cheap made, they dont fit because the bar is way to big for the door, the handle itself is in the way of the screw holes and they dont actually work once fitted... do not buy this product pick something thats better quality.

So bad. Avoid.

We got these today, the screws provided snapped! The handle attaching with a lot of efforts and the handle too stiff to open. Just badly made.
