Just the job
Did the job stripping varnish from window sill , leaning surface ready for sanding and varnishing.

Great for removing gloss.
I bought this product to tackle layers and layers of old gloss work. It dose work. But it dosent go far. I have had to purchase a few more tubes since. But definitely works

Does What it Says
Despite seeing some negative reviews, the product did the job for me. But you may need to make more than one application and you will need to use some elbow grease.

Works well
Does the job but needs to be left for up to four hours for it to work and needs to be applied thickly. Smell is overpowering and unpleasant wear a mask especially if you have breathing problems like asthma.

Smelly and ineffective
Needed to strip many layers of old cracked paint off a very old wooden door. Applied "generously" as instructed, and used the entire tub. Horrendously smelly with strong vapours - I had hoped that it would begin to show results after the 20 minutes that it say on the tub - no result after 20 minutes. Further instructions say "May take up to 4 hours to penetrate multiple layers of paint" I waited the 4 hours to find that the paste had dried into white powder on the surface and within the cracked paint but had done nothing to soften up the paint. I now have an additional layer on the door that needs to be removed. Utter waste of time.

Excellent product
I bought this to clear the pain off a metal tank. It did the job in under an hour. I found wiping it off with cloths was quicker than using a scraper.

Eye watering fumes
HORRIFIC smell...get something less toxic smelling! It stripped the paint but made the process VERY uncomfortable

Worked Great!
Used on a stair bannister to remove the paint - the paint was’t particularly thick, but I only left this on for 1 hour, and it came off easily with a scraper. Does smell quite strongly, but it’s fine if you keep the windows open. Great product!
