Beware!
The product leaves a soft plastic layer on the plaster surface (even if applied thinnly) that is poorly adherred to the plaster surface, resulting in poor paint adhesion (based on a Duck tape peel test). Several types of paint gave the same result. The adhesion might be adequate for some situations but I ended up sanding off the plastic layer (rather tedious) to achieve good adhesion.

Good in the end
This product probably did seal the wall I intended to work on but it was not entirely paint-ready and I ended up buying Ronseal Perfect Finish Smooth and Repair. However, I did use this product on a wallpapered ceiling that was flaking and it worked really well.
