We have been renovating our first house and have used this throughout, we have never put coving up before and found this easy to use. It looks great and we're really happy with it.
Packs can differ in C curve

I purchased two packs of these and found them to be different although they all had the same numbers on the back. I cut mitres on two and tried them in the corner, but they just would not fit properly. I could not work out what the problem was and thought I had made a mistake in cutting. I did two more, only to find they were the same. I checked they were the right way up and the angles were correct, so why would they not line up. At that point I left the corners and tried joining two mitred straight joints only to find they would not line up. That's when I discovered the C curves were different and impossible to join. When you get them home, you need to check they are all the same as they can be out by 5mm to 6mm.
So easy to use...

I was donated some plaster coving, though it turned out not enough to do my lounge. It was cheaper to buy a pack of this than just a few lengths of plaster coving to match what I had. I was sceptical - being familiar with the polystyrene variety available, but the reviews seemed good, so I took a chance. If you are in a similar place and reading this, do not hesitate to buy this stuff. It is cheap, light, so easy to use (I did it on my own), and quite forgiving if your ceilings aren’t perfectly straight. And looks like its been there forever once painted.
The plaster coving went to the recycling centre.
Top tip: Every online instructional video I watched before putting this up said if your ceiling is not level, fit the coving level and fill up any gaps. For me this would have led to a 50mm gap above the coving in one corner of the room. I fitted to the ceiling, and it looks better this way. The out of level section is imperceivable from the floor, whereas 50mm of filler would have been.
