I bought this product but haven't used it yet but it is what I expected. I had to buy 2 packs as I was slightly short for doing the room. It will leave a lot left over but good in case I make a mistake as I have never put coving up before.
Looks like the real thing

Bought this coving last week and did a room in under two hours ,it's easy to cut ,very light weight and looks just like plaster when up, I used no nails and had no problems at all ,I used a plastic mitre tool made the job super easy as I have never cut a mitre before , the paper lining on the coving makes it look just like the real thing ,I'm now ready to tackle the rest of my rooms with this great product .

Great product and easy to put up but
Found general purpose silicone easiest to use as coving adhesive just added alot of weight to it, and at times forced it down.
Wish all stories stocked it though.
I'm converted. Fantastic

Iv only ever used the normal heavy gyproc stuff in the past. A plasterer told me to give this stuff a try as he thought it was brilliant. I'm really glad i did. This stuff is fantastic in my books. This isnt the old kind of rubbish polystyrene coving you've seen before were you can push a finger into it. This is a hard dense foam with a smooth paper face making it super lightweight and easy to cut.
This stuff is easy to handle, easy to put up on your own, cheaper, less hassle and looks EXACTLY THE SAME as the Plaster stuff once up and painted.
Il never use Gyproc again. You'd be mad to.

This is not as good as the lightweight coving which I previously purchased from B&Q. It was some years back, but this is of a poorer quality and after fixing, I painted it within 3 days as per instructions and some of it shrunk away from the ceiling breaking the adhesive. One advantage is that both edges appear to be the same, so it does not matter which edge goes against the wall.
