Not just a piece of cable

Wow, what a cable! Two 2.5mm absolute delights of copper conductors, and a splendid earthing line. Beautifully contrasting insulation colours; some would say they were just standard, but no, these are far better. The cable did the job perfectly, and now passes electricity with ease. If you are looking for a power cable, look no further

Does the job

I don't have much experience with various electrical mains flex, but this cable worked well for me. Seems of good quality and it was a good price for a small amount.

Great product and great price too.

Got this to finish off a small job. Great product and great price too. I will continue to use B and Q for what I need . It's a place where you can get what you need.

Excellent British manufactured cable

Excellent British manufactured cable which is now installed in trunking in my garage for a switched double 3 pin socket

Lesrobin - 5 / 5 - 12/07/2024

Very good product and quality

Great cable especially when you only need a short length

Xris21 - 5 / 5 - 14/02/2024

Does the job.

Basic kit in a convenient length, at a reasonable price.

RubbleAndCrew2 - 4 / 5 - 05/02/2024

Reasonable cable for the price

Yes, it's electrical cable. Yes, it will work with 240vAC (mains voltage was only "changed" to 230vAC around 1995 - and 230vAC is the RMS voltage anyway - "actual" AC voltage "peaks" around 330vAC. And did you know that nothing was actually done to "reduce" the AC voltage & that only the tolerance was changed to achieve the 230vAC RMS specification?) This cable is multi-core, and should not really be mixed with single-core since it can be difficult to tighten two different cable types into a terminal connection. Yes, the insulation can appear poor, but it is marketed as "easy strip" (which it is). I can only see this being an issue if you don't know how to correctly strip cable sheathing!

THEMANTHATCAN - 5 / 5 - 04/09/2023

Great value product, easy to use.

Does as expected, no complaints what so ever. Easy to strip and terminate and a decent length.

230V max rating

Bought online, Click & Collect, turned out label szid 230V max rating, as mains is 240V decided to leave it and get higher rated cable.
