Resolva Xtra tough weed killer is a ready to use, non-glyphosate systemic treatment which is effective on vegetation and roots of persistent broadleaf weeds in lawns.
- Wearing gloves is recommended but not necessary
- Composition: Mecoprop-P 3.75g/l (0.375%w/w) + Dicamba 0.4675g/l(0.0467% w/w) as the Potassium Salt as a ready to use solution
Features and benefits
- Effectively kills the entire plant including the roots
- Free from glyphosate preventing damage to leaves and shoots
- Targets weeds, leaving your lawn to grow healthy and strong
- Can be used to control annuals, perennials and difficult broad-leaf weeds
- The active ingredients work hormonally, which can cause an initial vigorous growth response and signs of distortion (twisting) in the leaves and stem. The weed will outgrow itself, then turn yellow and die. It can take up to 14 days to see results, so do not apply more than the recommended dose on pack. Resolva Xtra Ready to Use Weedkiller kills weeds and the roots.

Did mot kill my weeds
Deployed as per the label, only killed a small % of the weeds in my path.

Now 2x large doses on all the weeds & they just look a little pasty , not very good weed killer & expensive

Doesn't work
Sprayed once, as directed. After a week weed was flourishing. Tried 5 sprays next time. Most weeds unaffected. After 2 days some showed a little wilting.

Not very effective
Bought this to tackle some ivy growing up my garage wall. I gave the ivy a thoroughly good wetting. After three weeks the ivy is still very much alive with only some browning on some leaves. Pretty disappointing.

First time but won’t be the last
The first time I’ve used this make but it won’t the the last. My front driveway was cleared last week and so I’ve done down the side of the house and I can see it working there too. I’ve also done between the slabs of my patio. Fingers crossed they won’t grow back. If not, I’ll definitely get some more for other affected areas.
