A brilliant Ronseal exterior satinwood wood paint that is a great choice to give your home a refresh. White is a clean colour that will suit any exterior design. The paint can be applied on wood surfaces. Use this wood paint to create an effortlessly satinwood finish with easy application and minimal cleanup. This 750ml size contains enough paint to cover up to 21 m² on average. You can use a brush to apply an even layer. It will dry quickly between coats meaning you can recoat it in 4 hours. Not happy
I was very disappointed in this paint it’s very thin and watery, even though I stirred it for ages. It was drippy and splatery, and needed 3 coats to cover a pale colour. I will have to buy another brand of exterior paint to finish my windows.

Great application for outdoor use
I purchased this paint to cover new hardwood ply panels for outside use. Despite all the comments about this paint being too runny, it’s excellent! I can only assume that other customers haven’t taken the time to stir the paint before each use. It layers up really well & dries quickly too.

Good but
The final finish is just what I wanted however it took three coats to get satisfactory coverage. i expected the paint to be thicker.

Poor coverage
Had to use 3 coats to cover a light beige wood filler with this White Satin paint, making this an expensive paint. Paint is too thin to provide good opacity.

I thought this paint was terrible - poor coverage and impossible to achieve an acceptable finish

Too runny, absolute garbage!
Unusable, it has the consistancy of single cream, complete waste of money. I looked online and Trustpilot is all reviews of how terrible Ronseal products are, wish I'd seen that before wasting my money!

Waste of money
Bought this as it was a Best Buy in an article online. Sanded down and cleaned the window thoroughly and started painting but soon noticed this was going to take more than one coat, ended up having four. A year on and it’s starting to peel, so having to try again, most probably look for something oil based.

Great coverage and results
Used this for various projects - doors, outdoor structures. Does what it says on the tin. For new timber cover knots first, otherwise works straight away, three coats to get proper weather proofing.

Ignore the bad review
Bought this to paint the wood around my garage door. It was a good thickness (after a good stir), smooth to apply and it dried quickly. Two coats was enough for perfect coverage.

Great paint, highly recommend.
Preparation was easy to follow and stated on the tin. I sanded down the surface and brushed away loose flakes before apply the paint. Like a similar review, initially the paint was very translucent and faint. However after shaking the paint up and stirring, it was perfect. I did 2 layers, little to no dripping and the wood looks great. 5/5 will buy again but I shouldn't need to for 10 years!
