You can apply this shed & fence preserver from Ronseal to , using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 24 hours to dry and will cover up to 8 m² per litre on average.

Nothing like the autumn brown colour it’s like water awful Had to return for refund As for the price, I found B&Q the most dearest place to buy them in the end so I’m glad I got a refund

Sealing my shed and wooden gate
Colour charts are not accurate . The product is very watery so it can run down the handle of your brush. I used a brushing technique holding the brush handle at the top and the brush at the bottom and brushed upwards. First coat soaked in the gate and shed and ran easily. Second coat went on better. On the first coat , the knots would not soak in the liquid. The overall colour was more even on the second coat.

The best stuff for fence preserving
The photo attached is two coats of autumn brown It is a good preserver , water seems to run off the fence now

Excellent, long lasting product
I bought this product again last month to redo my shed and fences. The last time I used it was about four years ago so it lasts really well. It is easy to apply and soaks well into the timber.

Only preserver my husband will use
Fence panels, summer house, shed in fact anything wooden is painted in this .. perfect coverage and lasts a long time.

Used on many wooden items in our garden
We have used the Ronseal Fence & Shed Preserver on our wooden sleeper raised beds, gazebo and some of our fencing. We also plan to use it on some future projects we have planned. We’re very pleased with it. We’ve removed a star due to the pouring difficulty when the tin is first opened as quite a bit of the preserver runs down the can and makes quite a mess. I now sit the tub I’m pouring the preserver into on a large piece of cardboard I keep for this. Some kind of pouring spout would be helpful.
