Good varnish ..... poor quality lid on tin
Not happy from Chelmsford - 3 year ago
For the second time I have found that Ronseal Interior Diamond Hard Antique Pine Satin finish is supplied in a decent tin but with a very soft metal lid.
After opening twice , the lid is now unusable and I have had to contact Ronseal for a solution. They are sending me a plastic container but gave no comment on the lid quality. The varnish however does what it says on the tin .... not the lid.
What ever happened to good old varnish?

This product is the worst I have ever purchased. It is watery(I know it's water based), foams up, needs multiple coats and nowhere near the old colour that we had before.
That satin finish was dull compared to other stain

Easy to use. Covered the different types of wood used in my door and frame evenly. However I was disappointed with the dull sheen! It looks like it needs a good polish! The satin sheen provided by traditional stain is much better

Easy to apply and gives good colouring throughout.
