This dark oak interior varnish from the Ronseal Interior diamond hard range can be applied to interior using a brush. The varnish dries in just 20 minutes and will cover up to 24 m² per litre on average.

Absolutely scandalous price !
I had a small bit of a project left to finish. They had run out of the larger tins. So was forced to buy this. It’s absolutely tiny and cost £17. Even the lady on the till couldnt believe it. Day light robbery. (I know I could have walked away but the project had to be finished before Christmas).

Great colour
Laughing at the reviews where people have no idea how to varnish so thought to show you all how it actually looks finished after a few coats rather then just one brush stroke

Not dark at all
Colour seems to be completely misrepresented. Wood was sanded, wiped down in white spirit, left to dry, three coats applied on a test patch. But the colour is nowhere near as dark as the photos make it out to be. Will try and return this to store tomorrow. See photos to show:

Different color
The color of this varnish dark oak is completely different from picture on site and from sample in store. It's not dark and not brown at all.

Easy to use, good match of colour
I bought this a month ago and found that l still have half a can left after completing the job. Even though l did many coats as suggested
