Not Dark at all
It’s not dark at all. Applied 3 coats and the colour is nothing like that shown on the tin or the sample in B&Q.

Not the colour shown
Blue / Grey in the tin and then dries to a slightly yellowish brown-not dark oak

It does not do exactly what it says on the tin!!!
I love the Ronseal strap line.... however I have to disagree.... Ronseal does not do exactly what it says on the tin and they do under perform. I recently bought a tin of internal wood varnish MATT finish, in fact I bought several tins costing me around £45. On using my third tin.... it turned out that it was gloss (hence, it did not do exactly what it says on the tin) and not matt. So on my almost finished stairs case, banister and spindles I had a random section of glossy wood. To rectify this I then had to go out and buy a clear MATT finish to put over the top costing me £17. Ronseal where kind enough to give me my £17 back for the clear matt varnish but not my money back for the faulty tin that I was accused of "not stirring correctly, hence the gloss finish"
