Not what it does on the tin
Bought this WATER based varnish and it does nothing like what it says on the tin. The light oak is more like curry. The finish is like you had used a child's box of water paints. With out doubt the worst varnish I have ever used.

Nasty yellow colour
Looks like cheap pine mdf after being applied on raw clean wood. Very yellow tone and not like the tin at all

Love this
I used this to varnish new pine floor boards , didn’t want orangey tone , but not too light . As long as wood is fully sanded first , it glides on really well . I still need to give a top coat but so far so good

As they say, does what it says on the tin
Made a really good job of the coffee table I had refurbished
