This walnut interior varnish from the Ronseal Interior diamond hard range can be applied to interior using a brush. The varnish dries in just 20 minutes and will cover up to 24 m² per litre on average.

Excellent
I always use Ronseal for my projects and once I tried it, I haven’t bothered even considering something else. It goes on evenly with ease and, depending on how dark you want it, 2 coats has been fine for my indoor projects but I did do 3 for the outside bench. If I’m organised, I could do all 3 coats in a day as it dries very quickly

Dreadful - does not do what it says on the tin
Bought this to stain and varnish new softwood. Should be walnut but awful grey colour - tested on a variety of woods - same result.

Good to apply over varnished wood
I had a varnished handrail and balusters that were too red on my taste. Ronseal Diamond hard Walnut Satin Wood varnish made a perfect job turning those components to more walnut-like ones. I have not done any preparations apart from dust wiping and it lied perfectly over other varnish. It worked well and looks really good!

Varnished some furniture. Couple of coats and some paint and it looks bangin.

So easy to use. Nice even finish. Used 3 coats for a beautiful deep finish. Furniture looks shop-bought new
