You can apply this opaque shed and fence treatment from the Ronseal Fence life range to all rough sawn and smooth planed sheds and fences, using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 1 hour to dry and will cover up to 6 m² per litre on average.

- Ronseal fence life plus+ can be used on all rough sawn and smooth planed sheds and fences. It'll stand up to rain, frost and snow and won't lose its colour in the sun. With 2 coats on rough sawn or 3 coats on smooth planed wood the colour will last for up to 5 years. Even better, you have the choice to brush it or spray it on and it can be applied to damp wood.

Good finish after a few coats
This product tends to be watery when you open the container, so you need to mix well to mix in the thicker portion of the paint- a stick does not work so you need to use a battery drill and a paddle to get a decent mix. I used on a smooth finish shed, initial coats hardly covered the wood but it then built up to a great finish

love this colour! had so many compliments!
I bought my first 5ltr pots in april from Aintree who had only one pot and then 4 from click and collect at Wigan during the begining of the the lockdown. I still have some left but need another 2x5ltrs but can't find it anywhere to paint some newly replaced fence panels. This colour has transformed the look of my garden and i have used 3 coats which should mean it will last for a few good years. The colour is so lovely, I took ages to make my mind up but I'm so glad I chose this colour. the sunny side got 3 coats on my fence which hadn't been painted and 2 coats to the side that doesn't get the sun and they both look fab. it did take me a long time to do but it was a job well done. the paint is watery but a better finish than the cheaper version the basic fencelife. Highly recommended and hope it comes back in stock soon cos no one seems to have it!

Fence life plus
I brought 2 x 5lt tubs of Ronseal fence plus and it covered really well and was very pleased. However I then purchased a 9lt tub and had to return it as it was very thin and watery, the 5lt tubs was more like a gel. I contacted Ronseal who said that the product was faulty and to return it.

Watery and needs several coats
We bought This to pint over a light brown fence ... currently on coat 3 and it still looks like army camouflage .. patchy, watery and not great.

Does not do what it says on the tin
I bought this Ronseal paint to do our Garden Shed, to be fair it had previously been painted Red Cedar and was very weathered but it has already had 4 coats of Forest Green and needs at least another.
