You can apply this opaque shed and fence treatment from the Ronseal Fence life range to all rough sawn and smooth planed sheds and fences, using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 1 hour to dry and will cover up to 6 m² per litre on average.

- Ronseal fence life plus+ can be used on all rough sawn and smooth planed sheds and fences. It'll stand up to rain, frost and snow and won't lose its colour in the sun. With 2 coats on rough sawn or 3 coats on smooth planed wood the colour will last for up to 5 years. Even better, you have the choice to brush it or spray it on and it can be applied to damp wood.

Love the colour!
A really lovely colour, and easy application. 2 coats gave perfect coverage, and the finish is good. Has been durable in the sun and rain so far.

Extra coats needed for cool look
I have previously used the Sage shade of Ronseal Fence Life and had run out of the product before reaching the end of the job. Therefore I knew this particular shade requires more than the recommended number of coats to obtain proper coverage, but needed the specific colour to match the existing incomplete work. It is a pleasant shade and looks good but its coverage capability is poor. Probably why Sage was a cheaper shade than others.

Perfect.
Lovey colour, just like on the tin. The application was perfect. Managed to cover several fence panels with one tin. Durability was excellent. And the finish after drying was exactly what I was after.

Sage Ronseal
Fancied a change so purchased Sage to cover rust colour. Ronseal is not a thick paint & I’m covering a dark colour so it was taking 4-5 coats but has nice sheen, eventually. Tried using white primer 1st, but still needs 3-4 coats but looks nice. Overall am pleased.

Not great
I brought this product last month. After throughly mixing the paint I applied the first coat, it barely showed any difference. After the third coat of a section I was working on I gave up and used a different paint. Would not recommend very watery didn’t adhere to previous paint. Even after several coats.

Watery rubbish
Rubbish, it took 5 coats and it still didn’t cover properly. Probably the worst I’ve ever used. I think I’ve said enough.

Colour different, but looks good anyway
The colour is different from that on the illustration on pot, it’s not sage green it’s blue! Luckily I like the blue so that’s fine. It goes on very thin so requires lots of layers. But if you use a sprayer it is much thicker; sprayer recommended with this product. You’ll need a brush for smaller parts .I only painted it a month ago so can’t testify to its protective qualities or longevity. Hopefully it’ll last the promised 5 years!

Poor quality
Water fence paint used the whole five litres very poor coverage and the colour is nothing like what it looked like said sage it was more a blue colour wouldn’t recommend

WOULDNT COVER THE WOOD
THI HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE JOB, THE PAINT JUST SITS ON THE SURFACE AND DOESNT GO INTO THE WOOD, AFTER 4 COATS STILL NOT COMPLETELY COVERED
