You can apply this opaque shed and fence treatment from the Ronseal Fence life range to all rough sawn and smooth planed sheds and fences, using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 1 hour to dry and will cover up to 6 m² per litre on average.

- Ronseal fence life plus+ can be used on all rough sawn and smooth planed sheds and fences. It'll stand up to rain, frost and snow and won't lose its colour in the sun. With 2 coats on rough sawn or 3 coats on smooth planed wood the colour will last for up to 5 years. Even better, you have the choice to brush it or spray it on and it can be applied to damp wood.

Stuck with it because of the colour
Not very good and massively overpriced. Green ‘mildew’ starts to come through the black after a few months

Fense treatment paint
Excellent product. Used in past and lasted 3 years. This is upgraded quality so hope it will last a little longer.

I have used this product year on year.
I love this product and the colour enhances the grain of the varying woods used around our garden. Everything becomes unified, tied in.

Great colour!
You need 2 coats, but the colour looks great once finished it’s really freshened the garden up I bought extra so I always have it for a touch up!

Top choice
Bought ronseal Tudor black and its brilliant stuff. Excellent coverage and easy to put on with a brush. Would certainly recommend ronseal products as its top notch

Not good coverage
I bought this to cover our existing fence that has been treated before with dark oak, thought it being a darker colour it would cover but it didn’t do anything, think it would need at least 3 coats and as the fence is all round our perimeter it would cost an absolute fortune, very disappointed so returned all unopened tubs

Great product
Used this for the first time excellent. 3 coats, good coverage very pleased with result. Bought again to use on another summerhouse.

Not worth it
Terrible - it took two thick coats to get the colour, and then it washes of in patches in the rain. Whole fence needed repainting after only 3 months. I thought it might have been the batch etc, so painted again - again it washed off. Why bother selling rubbish like this?
