First time painting this colour on a old fence thick layers needed but looks great. But look ikke when painting a like when covering a dark colour on a inside wall more layers may be needed. It's transforming our garden to a lighter and more inviting place.

when finished this paint looks great on a sunny day, it can look a bit odd when wet but stone also changes colour too
the main thing to say is you need to over estimate by twice what you think you will need and that's enough
the first coat soaked into the fence and was lost the second / third did the trick though. It was too hot when we painted and the paint dried too quickly so we couldn't help needing a third coat
the end result though looks very clean and modern, the light colour creates a pleasant garden to be in without pulling the attention from the garden itself it also helps concrete post blend into the fence while some fences the post are very bold so its an excellent colour for a fence with the concrete posts
Hard work but worth it

Be warned, you will have to put on at least 3 coats, probably 4, but in the end the colour is really lovely. Don’t lose heart when the first coat looks like watered down toothpaste. I put it on my summerhouse last year and there are some patches that needed touching up this spring, so keep some spare!
