Used to repair the top of a badly split and rotting chambered 250x250mm gate post. Setting time was short and needed to scrap residue from tools between batches, but easy to build up in layers and shape. Treated post with wet rot hardener prior to filling so time will tell if the filler holds but the post continues to rot. Would like more instructions about how the mix alters the setting time.
Better than I expected

Studied the reviews and I admit to being a little apprehensive about using the product. I’m only an occasional, untalented DIY’er but found this to be relatively easy to use despite some reviews, referring to difficulties getting the mixture right. It is a little like working with liquid chocolate, but there was no sag and pliable for long enough to mould. Thereafter sanding and painting was straightforward.
Working time too short

It does a good job if you can get it in place in time. The resulting repair is ready to sand or still etc quickly and it's pretty solid. But the working time make it very difficult to use particularly if you have multiple small repairs which take more time to get neat. It starts drying soon fast that spreading it becomes impossible. I've used it before and was very careful about proportion of hardener. The amount in the tin was also a huge disappointment (see pic).
I did not like this product

I bought this product to fill in an awkward gap between two pieces of wood. I carefully mixed it according to the directions but found it difficult to use and it started to go hard within a few minutes, leaving a mess outside of the wood. I would not use this again for awkward spaces because the product for me, went hard too fast. As it is an inside job I will revert to polyfilla which is much easier to clean up afterwards and to use.
Some numpties don’t know how to use it!

I was a bit doubtful after reading some reviews about this product but decided to give it a go anyway.
It’s great! Some people obviously haven’t read the instructions properly. If in doubt get a real golf ball and a real pea to compare the proportions of product to hardener.
Don’t mix more than that at once as you probably won’t use it all in time before it sets solid.
