Excellent product
The Ronseal fillers dry quickly, set hard, sands smooth and don't deteriorate when finishing with water-based paint which I've experienced with other products.

Effective and easy to use
This does what it says, I used it for a small chip on the kitchen work surface. Goes on easily, blends in well and has stopped the crack getting bigger.

Its bright orange!
Bought to to fill edges of light oak laminate. Its easy to apply, sandable quickly, buts its actually an orange colour. Nothing like the colour on the tin

Lovely to work with but very orange
I used this for the gaps between my oak parquet floor. The floor has been sanded and varnished but there were a few gaps to fill. Good product to work with but my floor is light oak colour, as is on the tin, but the colour is too orange, reminds me of bad fake tan. a more sand colour would have been better for them to have made this product. Here's hoping my filled in bits get dirty and lose the orange tango asap.

Fills wood
Although slightly tongue in cheek, it does, and does it well. Suggest you note that unless you are painting over you will need to match colour.

Not the colour it says on the tin
Don't be deceived by the colour description because after opeing it I found it to be a 'brick/red/orange' colour and nothing like shown on the label. I complained to the manufacturers and they told me it was intended to be painted, varnished or stained to match the colour you want. It mentions this but doesn't say it has to be. I wanted it to match my beech coloured kitchen units and the label matched perfectly but sadly 'not what it says on the tin' from that point of view. Have since read a few reviews on several sites and others have experienced the same reason for complaining, regretfully I didn't do that before purchasing

Works great!
As stated in another review, this is Antique Pine, which is more orange than light beige, but it sticks, sands smooth and dries much harder than other wood fillers. I've used it for everything from floor boards to reshaping the edges of wood doors (again, antique pine, not clear pine) and it really holds up. If painting, plan to prime twice (the orange can be bright when painted white). If staining, you might want to use a sanding sealer, as any filler will absorb the stain more than the surrounding wood (like end-grain). If sealing a clear-coat, just put it on.
