Didn’t do what it said on the tin! Avoid!
Appears to go on well, but we used on window sills to protect against weather damage and frustratingly the wood stain applied to it peeled off within one year producing deep cracks and crumbling. We contacted Ronseal but they dismissed it as being due to the preparation and advised us to contact the paint manufacturer which we did. Johnstones were a lot more professional and even carried out a lab analysis of samples of the flaked paint. Their conclusion was that the failure of the product was due to the surface as the coating did bond to the filler but the filler itself cracked. We are now planning to replace our windows as they look unsightly, are too high maintenance, but more importantly are not protecting against the elements.

Ronseal wood filler
I needed to reshape floor boards and it has produced a good solid surface. The texture was good and easy to apply Colour choice limited and cream quite bright. Felt heavy in tub but tub not filled up so volume misleading. Only 3/4 full.
