I brought this product as it was the size and colour I needed for my fences. I was a bit worried at first as the consistency was like water. I stirred it and it did thicken up. I did my whole garden fences in 4 hours and they only needed on coat! The colour dried perfectly to the shade I was looking for. Will definitely use again.
Not one coat

The 'One Coat' description is misleading, maybe it's one coat in optimum conditions but when re-painting my fence (dark oak) it took 2 coats because first coat dried very patchy, could still see previous colour (red cedar) underneath
After 2 coats though it looks great - but twice the cost and twice the work
Definitely doesn't do 'what it says on the tin!'
Definately reccommend thIs

This fence paint is great value for money. When you initially take the lid off even after stirring the paint colour looks decidedly mauve, light brown or even a shade of purple. Even on first application it appears not dark oak. However, after a good 24/48 hours drying time it does indeed dry a beautiful rich dark oak. Easy to apply not draggy like some fence paints. I totally recommend this fence paint it is good value for money and gives a great finish. Thank you Ronseal :)
very thin and transparent

not exactly what i was expecting , it is a "one coat " but i have had to persevere with 3 coats on a very large project to take away the brown colour from the wood showing through which i thought looked poor and defeated the purpose of this colour i chose.
so not exactly
Lovely rich brown fence paint with good coverage

Used a HPLV paint sprayer. Had to dilute the paint with water but it saves a lot of time. Used a brush to paint the shed too.
