You can apply this opaque shed and fence treatment from the Ronseal Fence life range to all rough sawn sheds and fences, using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 1 hour to dry and will cover up to 6 m² per litre on average.

Fence protection
Love the colour and my fence now looks new. Quite thick so didn’t go in the spray gun so had to use a brush. I took before and after pictures but wouldn’t let me upload

Bought this because Ronseal Onecoat Timbercare was no longer available. This seems to be the same.

Painting Fences
Very thick, hard work with a brush, dilute it (750ml water for the 5L tub) mix & stick it in an electric sprayer and enjoy your time in the garden

Goes on well but doesn't last
Goes on well but doesn't last. Needs doing again after about a year which is annoying as it took ages to paint all our fences. The colour is not oak it's more like an orange teak.. Annoyed going to have to buy again so soon to make the fences look good again.

medium oak Ronseal stain
Good price but more orange colour than medium oak so if colour is key to your project double check - goes on well

Easy to paint
It's easy to apply to the fence, just need 1 coat which saved us a lot of time. Cheap price, but the colour is quite different from the package. The Medium Oak looks more like a red brown, still looking good on our fence though.

Definitely one coat
I bought this product to revive my fencing, I couldn't remember which colour I used so it was slightly different to the one I had used previously, which I painted many years before. It was a great coverage and only needed 1 coat. I did find using a paint brush gives you better coverage than using a fencing brush.

Brilliant value for the money
Wow beautiful colour and amazing depth of grains highlighted, and great coverage you could get away with one coat but I put 2 on for the best results. I would highly recommend to anyone to buy this this brand and colour or your choice of colours.

Same colour as always, happy with this product
I’ve used this fence treatment with over the last few years and thankfully the colour always comes up the same. We give our fence a fresh coat every year to two years and ONE is sufficient. That said I have used this treatment on some brand new untreated fencing that we’ve had fitted this year and needed TWO coats as one coat didn’t quite look enough to protect it on its first application (maybe that’s just a matter of our choice). Overall I’m happy with this product and on the 2 for 18 pounds offer it was the best price I could find at the time of my purchase.
