One coat actually means 3 and like many others, the colour is closer to a red/orange than it is brown. Ended up buying dark oak instead which is a MUCH nicer colour.

When I opened the tub the paint was very lumpy and no amount of stirring got rid of them. Also the colour was nothing like the colour shown. I bought medium oak and it was a horrible orange colour. I still used it hoping it would go darker when it dried but no luck. Would not buy again!

Not the colour I expected , more red, wanted to get away from my cedar red, and needed two coats.
I bought two tins one was thick and easy to put on, the other so runny had to be carfull.
