Perfect for job
Easy to apply and does what it says on the tin. Will buy again.

Great Product - its a wax emulsion, not an oil.
An excellent product - I bought the clear type. I had a grey and unsightly garden bench. I sanded it fairly quickly, gave it two coats by brush and it is now a wonderful chestnut brown colour. It looks and feels fantastic! I am so pleased. Its an emulsion of water and waxes, plus some exotic preserving chemicals. Shake well. So why do they call it an oil?

Does what it says on the tin .....
Effective, clear furniture oil which has helped improve the look of an old teak wooden table for another year. Easy to apply but not cheap.

Worked for me
I used it to treat a wooden front proch. Process was a good power-wash and a couple of coats of Ronseal Wood Preserver before using the furniture wood oil as a sealer and finisher. Worked well into the wood using a cloth. Easy to use and happy with the results.

Cannot even get in it!!
I cannot even get in this to even try to use it but after now reading other reviews I think I’ll take it back and get a refund!! My hand is so sore after trying to open this. Push the sides and twist but it is not coming off!!

Not an oil at all!
Watery and horrible....definitely not an oil! Bought this to apply to our new solid oak porch where we had made cuts and inserted glazing wooden battens, but The oak product is actually a deep grey watery liquid. I will be taking this back and getting a proper oil!

Not an oil but a water like liquid!
This is a water based “oil” which has the consistency of water. Absolutely shocked when I opened it to find a deep grey watery liquid which cannot be describes as an oil! Waste of money, look for a proper oil.

Not an Oil
Be aware, this product is water based and not an oil as described. We bought this to use on a solid oak, handmade garden seat. Despite following the instructions exactly, the watery liquid opened up the grain in the wood and ruined the surface. It needed stripping back and re-sanding to rectify it. Not impressed!

Annoying!
Have used this product in the past with great satisfaction. But Ronseal seem to have changed the colour and consistency, which did not meet my expectations. Quite runny and messy to apply.
