Ronseal ultimate protection decking stain will keep your deck protected from the weather and everyday wear and tear. It looks great all year round, with added slip resistance. It lasts twice as long as standard decking stain.

- Instructions for Use - Give the stain a good stir and dip in your brush or pad. Check you’re happy with the colour. Find a small hidden patch of wood and try it. Start in the furthest corner, brushing along the length of the boards. Work on 3-4 boards at a time so you don’t get any overlap marks. You’ll need to put on 2 coats. Leave 4 hours between each coat. After 24 hours you’ll be able to get your furniture out and use the deck. If you get any stain on yourself, wash it off with warm soapy water.

Ronseal ultimate decking stain
The stain went on easily and dried pretty quickly, however it didn’t give as much coverage in terms of opaqueness as I expected and so I ended up going over it with another decking stain. I’m sure it would work better on new decking, but for one like mine which has been done several times, I think that paint will be the way to go next time. I would still recommend the product. It just wasn’t right for me. One can went along way so good value for money.

Does what it says on the tin
As long as you give it a good stir before use, it was so easy to apply, instructions on the tin too, do make sure you wear gloves and wear clothes you don't care about because its difficult to removeif it gets on them

Excellent product
I nought this product last month as part of a project to refurbish our summerhouse. We used it on the floor (2 coats) and the previously untreated internal walls (1 coat) and it went on easily, covered well, washed the brush in water and the result exceeded our expectations. Pricey but worth every penny.
