Ronseal ultimate protection decking stain will keep your deck protected from the weather and everyday wear and tear. It looks great all year round, with added slip resistance. It lasts twice as long as standard decking stain.

- Instructions for Use - Give the stain a good stir and dip in your brush or pad. Check you’re happy with the colour. Find a small hidden patch of wood and try it. Start in the furthest corner, brushing along the length of the boards. Work on 3-4 boards at a time so you don’t get any overlap marks. You’ll need to put on 2 coats. Leave 4 hours between each coat. After 24 hours you’ll be able to get your furniture out and use the deck. If you get any stain on yourself, wash it off with warm soapy water.

Lovely colour
Lovely colour and coverage but takes ages to stir the paint

Great, USE A DRILL AND STIFF WIRE TO STIR
fantastic staining with great coverage. The only downside which has caught someone out previously is the stirring. A simple stir with a stick WILL NOT DO IT. I had to use a drill and a stiff wire (I used a brick wall tie) and even then it took some stirring to get it completely mixed. It didn't settle at all by the time I finished the tin.

Still separates, despite stirring
We gave this a good stir before starting....but definitely not even colouring!! All the pigment sank to the bottom and oils at the top. Looks horrible... now going over with paint, rather than stain. Wish us luck!!

Luminous neon, not sage
'Sage' would imply a soft, pale green. I was trying to get my decking to blend it with its green and pleasant surroundings. I stained my bare decking with this rubbish and it glows in the dark. It's roughly the same green as you get on fluorescent watches. Utterly, utterly awful.
