Good quality timber
Brought 36 2.4m of 4’x2’ timber for a shed base. The quality of the timber was really high. Few warps, no splits, and no shoddy lengths.

Warped without opening it.
You know something’s amiss when the unopened pack has a bolt screwed through several timbers. Very poorly finish to them as well. Stay well back.

Warped
I have bought two lots of this CLS Timber, the first lot i can honestly say was great, no problems at all. However the same can't be said for the second lot, i only opened the wrapping the other day, a few weeks after i bought them. There were a lot of warped boards, sap running down the wood, and even some cracks down the wood, and what makes it worse the better ones were on the outside, so first glance the wood looks good. I'm not sure if i would buy from B&Q again after this, but the first lot as i have said was good so i'm 50/50 at the moment.

Good value
Nice and straight with no warping. Plastic wrapped so a bit heavy but the nice delivery driver carried it to my garage for me.

Workbench
I purchased this timber to build a new workbench for my workshop i needed something sturdy, this was a good buy no warping or twisting, and no cracks in timber very happy with this item.

Good quality but no size control
I bought 2 packs three weeks ago and the quality is good. Unfortunately when I started to use it I realised out of the 12 pieces there were 6 different lengths so I had to recut some to fit.

Great Quality
I bought two packs to do some stud work all but two lengths were perfectly straight and true, just used the ones that were out for noggins. I can happily recommend these !

First class
I have used CLS timber many times and have always picked it up at the store as some lengths can be warped. I had this batch delivered and was a bit dubious about what I might receive. Every length was absolutely straight and true. Extremely happy!
