This Anthracite matt furniture paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting chalky finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 1 coat with a brush and leave for 1 hour to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection.

Legal information
- Contains a biocidal product. Contains Reaction mass of: 5-chloro-2-methyl4-isothiazolin-3-one [EC no. 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC no.220-239-6] (3:1) and 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction.

Great coverage. Wrong colour.
The paint itself is a great blend. It has fantastic coverage and pigmentation and dries down to a lovely matt finish. Unfortunately the colour is disappointing. I wanted a dark grey, which I expected from the colour on the front of the tin. It comes out a light grey, though.

Pale grey NOT ANTHRACITE!
Bought this to pant a unit to match my new anthracite kitchen but its nothing like it! Its more a pale grey as you can see in the picture. I thought maybe if i stirred it then thought it would dry darker but as you can see it didnt. Rustoleum need to check their colour chart!

Lovely colour!
I bought this to revamp an old chest of drawers. I managed to do all this in a day as the paint dried so quickly and nicely. Lovely matte finish

Amazing revamp of my lounge furniture
I bought a little can today and have painted some of my lounge furniture which was looking a bit worse for wear after 12 years. Paint is fab and covers really well, even on veneer. Looks classy and on trend. Going to remortgage to get some bigger tins and do the rest.

Very easy to use
This was the first time I'd used this type of paint and was a little put off by the reviews. It brushed on very easily over previous varnish and covered well with the first coat though I did apply another coat which gave total dense coverage. Result is a soft and gentle looking finish, just what I was hoping for. The only negative is that you have to be careful when choosing the colour. I wanted a finished product to look like the winter grey colour shown here, but had to use the anthracite to get it - i.e the colour comes up lighter than shown on these samples. I finished the table with Rustoleum clear wax and am very happy with it. Enough of the 750ml tin left to do another 2 tables so will get some charity shop chairs and paint them to match!

Paint wouldn’t take
The paint wouldn’t take to the wooden cupboard I was painting. It took about 5 coats and still didn’t cover. I’ve never know chalk paint do this before, very disappointing and time consuming

Perfect cover
Painted some old stained drawers, covered perfectly in one coat straight on to wood. Am yet to wax to seal the paint so I can place items on it. Fantastic colour and product. Would highly recommend for giving your furniture a fresh clean look. I purchased the 750ml can. Little pricy for the size I thought, but a little goes a long way!
