Rust-Oleum satin finish furniture paint adds a timeless mid-sheen lustre to any piece of furniture. The superior silk touch satin finish comes in an elegant palette of soothing shades and has been carefully curated to enhance contemporary interiors. It is 'Toy Safe' to toy standard testing: BS EN 71-3: 2013 + A1:2014. Migration of Certain Elements
- For use on Furniture
- Does not require any priming or sanding on most surfaces, simply ensure the surfaces are smooth, dry and free from contaminants. For best results, remove any wax or oil from the surface and if wax is used then clean the surface thoroughly with white spirit. It is recommended that bare wood should be sanded before painting. Finish with a layer of Rust-Oleum furniture finishing wax or Rust-Oleum furniture lacquer for protection
- Instructions for Use - Stir the product thoroughly prior to use. It may be applied with a brush or roller. If applying with a brush, apply evenly following the grain of the wood. If rolling, use a short nap mohair roller. To create a distressed look, apply 2 coats in contrasting colours. Allow to dry and then lightly abrade with moistened sand paper or a stainless steel scouring pad. Subsequently abrade with the grain of the wood. Protect the paint effect with Rust-Oleum furniture finishing wax.

Fantastic paint
Fantastic paint I’ve used on kitchen cabinets, walls and white goods. It’s given it all a perfect finish. A great, calm, stylish colour. The coverage is brilliant but needed 2 coats and is very durable. Since finishing my 1st project with this paint, I’ve used it for many others.

Lovely furniture paint
Lovely paint, goes on. Nicely and has a beautiful finish . Velvet feel and looks great on any peice of furniture and had a hard wearing finish

Dove furniture paint
Easy to apply and quick drying. Lovely pale grey colour. Needed 2/3 coats to give good coverage.

Bought this a few days ago, ordered 2 tins for my cuoboards, and used 3/4 of 1 tin so have a tin and a bit left after 2 coats on all my cupboards/drawers, very good coverage, highly reccomend.. attached before and after photos

gray not white
whent on nicely with a small roller but is gray. definetly gray not white or an off white. if you want a light gray then it's perfect.unfortunetly we wanted white

Love this product
Bought this paint to upcycle a pine wardrobe and frame of a chest of drawers - I loved that no need to sand or prime - although I did seal the knots in the wood prior to painting - love the results totally transformed the wardrobe - I bought 2 tins and I still have half a tin - gave each 3 coats although probably only needed 2 .

Looks great but v expensive
Colour? Lovely colour. Very light grey. Looks really elegant. Made some chest of drawers and painted them using this paint. The colour on the tin is very true to what it looks like once applied. How i applied? Used a £45 spray gun to apply the paint and a small roller to smooth out any drips. Went on nicely. Nice smooth finish. How many tins will you need? my Drawers were 1 metre wide, 600mm deep and 500mm high. Used 5.5 tins of paint and applied two coats. I used a spray gun so there was more wastage. Likely to use less tins if using a roller. Cheaper alternatives? After spending almost £70 using this paint i found out that you can used coloured emulsion on wood so i might try that next time and save myself £50.
