This Gold metallic special effect paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting metallic finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply with a brush and leave for 30-60 minutes to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection.
- Stir well before use. Use only when temperature is between 10-32°C & humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying.

- Previously painted surfaces should be lightly abraded to provide a key. Bare metal & wood should be suitably primed prior to painting.

No rust gold as shown
The colour on the tin don’t match bought this today from B&Q to restore painting frame, the results extremely disappointing. the actual colour inside. Is light bright gold unlike what shown on the tin dark rust gold

Gold needed indoors & out
Bought (rather than a spray on - which would be quicker) as needed some delicate precision when using for the projects we had in mind

Excellent product!
I bought this paint last month for a furniture project at home. Very pleased with results as easy to apply and the end result was better than I anticipated.

Absolutely rubbish
Too thin, does not cover over wood don’t waste your time or money on this product.

Bought this for renovating old frames and the colour is closer to copper than it is gold

Colour fade
I have used this item several times as it is the only one that I can find in a tin. However, be aware that coverage is not particularly great & needs 3 to 4 coats. I also is difficult to remove the brush strokes - even with an expensive good brush. The gold fades quite quickly so I would recommend a varnish to seal it. I used it for infill on my doors, so it had to be brush applied. The overall effect is good

Turned silver to gold
I had a silver coloured metal framed mirror which no longer matched my decor. Used this and it looks great in metallic gold. Really good cover with two coats.
