It's perfect
You can create a perfect rock with that. I loved it, I used to create Nativity scenes for 2 years and looks perfect and natural

Quite impressed but need undercoat
I was quite impressed how good it actually is. I read all other reviews including those mentioning covered area and indeed it won’t work as an only coat cover unless you use plenty of it but if you match cheaper smooth colour such Espresso brown and use this as a finishing touch then yea will works perfectly, just remember to sand a bit surface with high number sand paper like 120-160 so the paint will sits better especially with acrylic materials like pipes and I’m guessing with metal pipes as well. I like it, used as a plastic pipes cover in bathroom.
