Rust-Oleum Universal Satin Black All-Surface Paint is the perfect solution for painting tricky interior and exterior surfaces and can be applied to a direct range of surfaces including uPVC, wood, metal, plastics, ceramic and more.

- Surface Preparation - Remove oil, grease, and all other surface contamination by cleaning with appropriate detergents. Remove loose rust by scraping and wire brushing or sanding. Lightly abrade UPVC, remove any dust and wipe with methylated spirit. Prime suitably prepared metal, ferrous, non-ferrous, and galvanised with Universal Special Metals Primer. For stain blocking, prime first with Universal Stain Block Primer. Seal very porous surfaces where required with an appropriate sealer.
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. Thinning is not required. Apply 1-2 coats with a brush or short pile mohair roller. For roller application lay off immediately with a brush.

watery paint
Paint is watery, I had to use 3 coats on the metal to get some coverage. The price for it was disgraceful. Probably the new EU regulations that destroys the products.

Ideal for UPVC
This is fantastic paint I used it to turn white UPVC windows black and people thought I’d replaced them! Highly recommended

Ideal paint
Bought this to paint some outside stone windowsills. Prepared surface by removing flakey paint and rubbing down. Stir paint well before applying and jobs a good one. Overall very pleased with paint.

It simply did the job as expected.
What can I say about black paint? It did the job. When I brushed it onto items, they turned black!!

Did what it said on the tin
Did what it said on the tin. I used this for painting my external utility meter cupboards. Good coverage, but gave them 2 coats anyway. Gave a nice satin finish

Good Product
I bought this for use on plastic guttering that had been affected by neighboring white paint. The black coverage and the initial adhesion were both good and it provided a good finish.
