Shockingly poor screws
I have no idea whether the hook will last, but the screws were terrible. Screw heads strip with very little pressure, and the first one that I fixed, the head sheared off just as I was getting to the final tightening. Had to find screws of my own, and re-position the hook to cover the holes I had already made, one of course containing an embedded screw shank that I couldn't remove.

Cabin hook

Poor Screws
I have no idea whether B&Q would recommend this product for outdoor use, but I purchased it to place on an outside shed door on the basis that satin effect nickel plate should not rust. I was correct - the cabin hook has been in place for over a year with no signs of rust. However, the screws supplied with this product are either poorly galvanised or not galvanised at all. They were badly corroded within two months of being outside. Why cannot this type of cabin hook be supplied with A2 stainless steel screws which are corrosion proof? The pristine looking cabin hook looks so unsightly with rusty screws in place. I had to eventually replace the screws myself after cleaning the corrosion off the hook and plate with metal polish. NB. No indication is given on the packaging nor website that the cabin hook is for indoor use only.
