Sika Wetlook patio sealant for colourf stone slabs
3rd time using Sika wetlook patio sealant as we do our patio every spring. This makes the stone slabs look colourful again.

Product description is highly misleading
I would give zero but that is not an option. This produce is more expensive that many natural look sealers but I was happy to pay extra to achieve a wet look finish. However once applied the sealer looks just the same as natural look sealers. Sika need to address their marketing

Doesn’t dry with a wet look
Applied as instructed with a long handled roller. Does not leave a wet look. Very disappointed, dried dull. Just an expensive PVA glue type product. Will have to redo with some other brand.

Wet look sealer
Didn't really give the result that other brands have given in the passed . It left a milky like stain on the stone when drying.

Brought this product yo seal some old paving slabs I'd paited . It's done the trick and formed a good hard seal ..

Product fails to make a difference
I'm a fully qualified decorator with over 10 years experience, I tried this product on a customers patio, and it hasn't changed at all, I followed each step correctly and it has still failed. I would highly recommend avoiding this product

Would definitely not recommend
Cleaned block paving as advised prior to application, left to dry for a day and then applied with roller. Product is like milk when applying but supposedly dries clear. As it says not to apply thickly I put just one thin coat on and after drying it was all white and patchy! Also very slippery when wet! Contacted the manufacturer who said I must have put it on too thick and to strip it off and reapply! What!!!! After spending 45 pounds. A totally useless product which looks horrendous and very hazardous when wet. Avoid!

Expensive but does the job - MUST USE CORRECTLY!
This sealer is only good for patios, must prep properly beforehand (clean, remove efflorescence properly and re-grout). The trick is to apply in light coats with a sprayer and a roller. Do not ever allow to puddle or glaze on the surface or it will dry with horrible white spots (you have been warned!!!) And you will have to spend days stripping it off with xylene and a pressure washer and then starting again. Patio colour enhancing and shiny look achieved after 3 coats. Not suitable for block paving or garden pebbles, rockeries etc... (Need an imprenating sealer for that). Water repellent features are excellent and easy to clean thereafter. Apply when warm (20 degrees) and no breeze for best results. Allow 48hrs for complete hardening. Please wear a mask when using this or will sit in your throat for 2 to 3 days after.
