Flashing too big
I had purchased four of the windows. After installing,in the Final step,it appears the flashing is very wide, and and the only option is to cut it. Stay away, go for Official Velux

Do not buy, flashing does not fit 58 z 78 window
On trying to install this flashing I found the top and bottom parts of the flashing are actually 61cm wide. The description on this site also states "During installation ensure all components are located under the rubber seal" The rubber seal only stretches out to a maximum of 56cm... I went to the store and found three other boxes of the same item, the store verified these were the "correct" and smallest flashing kits they do, and are stated to be the match to the 58x78cm Site roof window. But I and the store employee took out the kits from all the three boxes they had and all had 61cm width flashing. The ONLy way to make this flashing kit work is to cut it in half, overlap the middle and glue it together with roofing sealant. AVOID.
