Black safety trainers, a must have !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a pair of Site Coyle black safety trainers in size 7 from Influenster, free of charge in exchange for a review. Site is a brand I am familiar with, from regularly shopping at a couple of large nation wide retailers for DIYers and tradesman. I trust the quality of this brand because I see tradesmen wearing it, and because I have purchased a few Site products myself and they proved to be great quality at a rather affordable price. Site Coyle safety trainers are safety trainers, made to a good standard, S1P SRA. The soles are anti slip and oil resistant. The toes are steel protected. The trainers are a bit on heavy side the way safety trainers should be, obviously because of sturdy soles and steel toe cap protection. The heel is energy absorbing, and the sole is shock absorbing. The trainers are designed with a variety of professionals in mind, from electricians to postmen. I am usinh the safety trainers in the garden because anti slip soles are indispensable in the garden that's more wet than it is dry, the whole year round. My garden is in progress, so it is important for me that the soles provide enough protection for my feet when stepping on stones, bricks, branches and an occasional spiky plant. On a few occasions , I was wearing Site Coyle trainers for a dog walk in the nearby forest and I was definitely feeling more confident on the slippery slopes. Besides, the trainers do not get wet in the rain. On the negative side, this trainers could benefit from thicker shoelaces as the trainers look like they will last me a while, but the shoe laces are a bit thin for this kind of footwear. I recommend wearing some thick socks with the trainers, it is more comfortable for toes!

Light for steel caps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall for cost a great safety shoe. Personally I don’t feel the sole it the best and could grip better however that’s the only negative. They do have a good grip but not quite enough. They seem to be wider fitting and comfortable all day although no arch if you need one there’s home for insoles. Waterproof outer is a must and as a steel toe cap they are heavy compared to a non safety shoe but much lighter than others I’ve had. Hard wearing and eco friendly
