Should’ve looked at reviews

Bought around 20m to redo the skirting in the living room I’d say roughly 5 metres worth are actually straight. The rest are warped and bowed so that the top and bottom don’t get near the wall and some fit fine on one end but then other is miles off. Should’ve just got the mdf stuff as it’s not much more but they don’t do it in 15mm

Inconsistent

I bought 2 packs of 4. I’m glad I did as there was several that were not flat. There were quite a few places were the board had warped on the vertical, so would not stay flush to the wall

Overall very poor quality.

Only reason I bought more was to match. Only then I found out the first order was a different Type to what I ordered. But since, many warped horizontally and vertically. Damaged individual items. Last time I reported the damage and was sent another pack. Which I just opened and 3 sheets are damaged. (Photos avail.) I piece broken at end, 2nd split for about a yard, 3rd split across the top for virtually the whole length.

Disappointed

Be VERY careful. Check pack and don’t let driver leave. I bought 3 packs and every pack had damaged and broken inside. Only 7 usable out of 12. Very sad.

Don’t waste your time with this!

I bought a couple of four packs of this pine Ogee to do my hall ways with. Out of the 8 boards only 2 were flat. The rest were warped, bowed and would not sit against the wall. Listen to the reviews and don’t buy the pine version of this skirting board. Get the MDF version instead. You will waste your time and money If you don’t!

Another poor quality product from B&Q

Never ever buy this product it’s total garbage, B&Q are one of the best at selling cheap rubbish at inflated prices but this stuff takes the biscuit! It’s unusable and warped. Even if you get a good bit chances are it will warp and twist once it’s in your house or you try to paint it

Johnw2610 - 1 / 5 - 20/07/2019

Awful

How b&q can sell this product and get away with it is beyond me, absolutely awful product, cupping, bowing it has the lot, the only reason I have given it one star is because it won't let me give it no stars Do yourself a favour and pay the extra for the MDF if your after a white finish or go elsewhere if your after a stained finish.

Very poor

This skirting is utter junk for what they charge for it . Warped and split avoid it

blueflame - 1 / 5 - 04/06/2018

Not straight

Bought 2 packs of 4 of this. Placed it in the house, flat on the floor to keep it in dry warm conditions. Some weeks later when I unpack it I find most are warped width ways so they cannot sit flat on a wall. It's not worth the effort to try correct the warping. Shall be looking elsewhere for wood in the future.
