Fire rated one-component hand held expanding foam that provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. Perfect for the installation of fire retardant window and door frames. Can also be used for insulating around pipe penetrations, roofing materials and in general construction.

Simple to use
This is a game changer to insulate a stud wall. First time use

Great product.
Used it to help seal a UPVC window. Worked absolutely fine. Expands well with all the usual fun of using expanding foam!

Amateur DIYer
This stuff goes a long way. As it hardens after 12 hours it was a massive waste as I on,y needed to fill holes around wires (to slow any spread of fire). It took me by surprise as it kept seeping out after I’d stopped spraying and the adaptor wouldn’t stay screwed into place (it kept spinning around) so I made a bit of a mess - easily cleaned with nail polish remover and a cloth. Also couldn’t figure out how to smooth it but in a high corner inside a cupboard so doesn’t really matter. Oh and it’s blue.

Good product to use for non-fire applications, but only has an out of date German ignitibility rating. Don't use for fire doors

Decent
I found this to be the best expanding foam product I have used yet. It goes really far, filling all the gaps I needed it to, bought cheaper products from elsewhere and they don't go anywhere near as far.

Don't buy this if you want to use a filller!
I would not recommend this product if you want to use a filler over the top. It is extremely spongy when dry, therefore very difficult to fill and the filler didn't seem to dry properly. (Used a ready mixed interior Polyfilla) I ended up scraping out the cavities and refilling with the Polycell equivalent, which is far superior, in my opinion, (although maybe not fire rated). P.S. The Soudal product was blue in colour, not pink!
