Not so great
I bought this product to line the walls of my boat. Splits really easily, After painting it it has bowed so not flush to wall was going to use adhesive but had to panel pin in. Total waste of money,

T&G for Camper conversion.

Easy to work with
I recently decided to panel the bottom half of the living room walls and decided to use this cladding for the effect it gives. The cladding is easy to work with, cost effective and looks great. I have used this cladding before on the summerhouse and was extremely pleased with the results so making the same choice again to use it in the house was easy.

I bought this to do some cladding in on of the bedrooms. It was very reasonably priced and did the job perfectly.

Short changed
I bought 6 packs of this product on 03/05/21 - imagine my surprise when I opened the pack and offered a length up to where I had left off with the previous packs I had used only to find it short by 10cm! - not only that but all 6 packs were short! I instead of being 1.8m in length as labelled they were all 1.7m. This is so disappointing where is the quality control?

If you’re careful, it’s great
I’d advise buying off the shelf in store so you can see the actual edges. It’s always slightly under size - don’t get upset, it’s called ‘tolerances’. I had a summerhouse to internally clad and bought packs in three different lengths to give a random pattern to the joints. It takes paint well, but can easily split if you fix close to the ends. But it’s cheap enough and the Geom brand quality is fine. It’s already dried, so shrinkage shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Bear in mind that timber is priced by volume and having a 7.7/8mm thickness instead of the standard 15mm+ explains the price. All in all a good choice. Just check those edges before you buy!

Great for Country style painted kitchens
We used this to finish the ends of our lower cupboards. Once painted this looks very effective. We also used it for wall panelling. Downside is despite painting the knots they have bled through, so time for some more gloss. I’ve just been to buy some more and I couldn’t find any and it isn’t available for home delivery or click and collect. You’re best going in to the store to pick a good bundle or sometimes the chips are too unsightly.
