Useless
Bought this on Thursday, by Sunday the glue sticks stopped feeding through, would buy another stanley

Does the job but...
I need a glue gun for an audio system installation, this looks to be about right for the job. Obviously it needs glue but B&Q don't stock Stanley glue sticks. The glue that is available produces a string of glue when the tool is removed from the joint. The glue seems to hold cable to walls etc. so it should be suitable for the job but it would probably be better with the right glue. The head of the gun gets very hot, it could do with better insulation. It isn't expensive.

Good value, does the job
Bought for making a cat post. Kept hot with and without being plugged in making it versatile. Used z few times and pleased with it. Only negative is the glue sticks dont feed themselves. However not an issue to push in every now and then.

Poor quality
This is my second one. The first just stopped heating up The second after two uses blows my rcd everytime you plug it in

Glue sticks need pushed in by hand. Useless
This is going to be my second return of this item. The first I used for not even a minute when the level for pushing the sticks stopped working and kept slipping. The second one I used for 5 mins before the same thing happened

Good gun but wrong glue sticks recommended
This glue gun takes 11mm glue sticks, but B&Q website states 'frequently bought together with 7mm plus sticks'. This implies that 7mm sticks are suitable, but they are not. Misleading and a return trip required to get correct ones.

Passed the test.
I bought this model to replace one that had failed. The larger size has an ergonomic handle and the flat base makes it easy to sit on the workbench. Overall good value for money
