Bought for path base
Bought this as a base for a new garden path, good quality and easy to lay and flatten out. Some biggish stones but otherwise good.

Subbase
Very disappointed in the product - it’s significantly more expensive than other merchants and is poorly graded making it difficult to compact; I won’t be buying it again.

Good value and does the job
Use this as a subbase for some brick edging that I was putting in my garden. Probably didn’t need it, but I just wanted it to be as firm as possible. I found it really easy to use although some of the stones in it were a little bit too big for the job that I was doing, but would make no difference on a large patio for example. Price was very good compared to the competition and I used click and collect so that my purchase was ready for me when I arrived at the store and I was in and out in a jiffy. Very impressed.

Great for the price
Bought for my garden landscaping project. Exactly a described and does the job. Would love a slightly bigger size bag though so not having to buy so many multiples

Too expensive
The product is fine, the price is extortionate. I paid £1.97 a bagand my local building merchant but needed 5 more bags too have to pay £5.30 per bag that is robbery!!

Quiet a lot of large stones
Overall it did what I needed it to do. Leveling up the ground for a garden seating area. However, some very large stones did make the job more difficult. I still topped it off with sharp sand and using decorative stones with slabs helped to eradicate any instabilities.
