Poor quality, poorly designed
Wish I'd read the on-line reviews before buying in store - fine in the packaging, but scratched SO easily during fitting. As to fitting - the design is a pain to fit if you want it to sit squarely on the door and not leak water. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and buy something else! The second I opened the packaging I realised what a pain it was going to be to fit and I wish I'd just taken it back immediately, but I soldiered on and got it fitted. Minor scratches showed up really badly, so the day after fitting I removed it, rubbed it down and sprayed it with smooth black Hammerite - OK, so now it's finish is smooth glossy black rather than being super shiny, but it looks decent and is a MUCH more hard-wearing finish. What a palaver!!!!

Black nickel gets marked
We bought this a few years ago now and overtime the postman putting things through has led to lots of scratches and marks, doesn’t look as “posh” as I had hoped! Avoid! Also let’s in a lot of cold air through the winter, doesn’t seal fully on shutting no rubber contacts etc

Nice but...
I really liked the finish on this product and thought it would look great against a shiny black door. When we went to collect this item noticed that it was marked - slight scratches and the nickel finish was blemished in parts. On checking the others on the rack they were the same and not just on the contact points. As this was while the product was still in the packet I was concerned that this would become worse after a period of use. The guarantee is only for mechanical wear so we decided not to buy the black nickel finish and went for the chrome instead.
