Putting bonding plaster and passing off as underco
Thistle are putting bonding plaster (brown) in bags and selling as undercoat plaster which takes days to dry whereas undercoat plaster dries really quickly and big holes can be done in morning and filled late afternoon so dry next day and reason we pay extra f. Bonding plaster is 1/3 price so Thistle think they’ll make triple money when we simple won’t buy douuug

7.5 kg bag expensive
Why honestly is a 7.5kg bag so expensive. 25kg same brand is £14 and the 7.5 is £12 plus. Another example of being ripped off.

Good Plaster - Short Shelflife
Good product, works well. Plasterer had no issues with it. Drawback was all stock at my local B&Q had only 4 weeks left on use by date. $ weeks later when returned to get more, all stock had only 3 week before use by date. Not ideal for a project which is not going to be completed in a quick timeframe.

Easy and effective
First use of this plaster proved easy to mix, easy to apply, left a smooth finish. Seemed better value than getting someone else in to do it

Great product but so over priced
The ‘7.5kg Repair Range’ is so over priced when compared o the 25kg packs which are a similar price and even cheaper in builders merchants. This is what you call ‘exploiting your customers’. I appreciate the price is probably driven be British Gypsum but B&Q should be finding ways to offer their customers better value.
