THEY ARE NOT SOFT CLOSE HINGEs
The hinge is not soft close, the soft close part is a cheap (£1) plastic add on that breaks after 2-3 weeks the only good thing is that when they break they are only £1 to replace but "soft close hinge" is a misrepresentation the hing part is NOT soft close

Hinges
I had bought these hinges before & they work really well - so I've gone to purchase 2 more just in case the other hinges on my carousel cupboard go soon!

Gets the job done, instructions complete rubbish.
The instructions really do suck. They come closed into it is in no way obvious how to open them without damaging them or injuring yourself. You need to remove the screws from the bracket so you can clip it to the hinge. Once you have it secured in place with the spring loaded clip at the end you can simply grasp the two brackets and gently pull them in opposite directions. The whole hinge then extends easily and smoothly. They are quite bulky inside the cabinet so if you if you are putting Soto drawers, for example, inside a base unit they will only be able to fit between the hinges. Haven't tried to fit the soft close yet, not sure I'll bother, nice to have the option I suppose.

Very poor instructions
After some working out, the grey soft close piece is screwed in place over the bottom of the hinge attachment in the base unit/cupboard. Just underneath where the hinge clicks into place. Product is great but the instructions were useless as they make it look like it is attached to the hinge itself. Would be helpful if customers could attach photographs to show this.
