Old sealant remover
The product was not that useful. It did not remove the old sealant as was suggested on the packaging. The blade of a Stanley knife was more effective.

Easy to use and effective
Easy to use, and effective where you can get the product onto the silicone. So I ended up leaving some bits inside the joint. Otherwise worked well. Nice clean finish. Right amount for one large shower.

Useless
Punctured the tube seal using the reverse end of the cap as instructed and a clear liquid spurted out. Fortunately I was wearing protective gloves and I had placed a couple of layers of paper around my working area. Given the hazardous nature of this product, in my opinion the way this tube reacted to being punctured is a health and safety hazard. The product itself had no effect at all on the sealant, After application the sealant did not swell according to the How To Use instructions but it did leave an unsightly white residue that was difficult to remove. Eventually I used a nylon scouring pad and a damp cloth to remove the remaining sealant.

Not for me thankyou
Tried it but still found it difficult to clean out the treated sealant. Ended up using craft knife and scraper. Might be OK on a flat surface but didn't help me on a shower tray

I am not sure if that's work .
Supply as say on the instructions waiting time is to long . Remove my old silikon but I am not sure if that sealant remover was necessary as I used knife as well .

brilliant product
Silicone sealant can be a real pain to remove. If the job is a re-sealing you want to remove all traces of the old sealant. This product is fantastic at removing the old stuff. OK its not cheap, but not too expensive either I find that its best to remove as much of the old sealant with a knife or similar and then smear a coating of the remover. Leave overnight and then just easily scrape off the gunge. Plus unlike the sealant the remainder doesn't set in the tube, allowing the full product to be used. But I cant help thinking that the cost discourages people and they shy away from trying it.

For removing sealant around the bath
Did the Job it was bought for, no problems and easy to use

Not easy to use
The remover was very thick and lumpy. Spreading it evenly was difficult and messy. Dissapointed with this product.
