V33 Radiator & Household Appliance paint can be applied direct to metal or PVC, providing a perfect, long lasting finish which is highly resistant to all of the bumps and scratches your radiators and household appliances can take.
- For use on Radiators
- Instructions for Use - Apply the paint at room temperature between 12 and 25°C and avoid draughts. 1. Stir the paint with a stirrer or wide stick, working around the bottom of the tin to mix it well. 2. Start by painting the angles, moldings and joints of the surface. Work on small surfaces. Apply from one end to the other. Follow with successive cross strokes. Do not start 2nd coat while it's still drying. Leave to dry for 6h (do not exceed 12h) and apply a 2nd coat in the same way. A 3rd coat may be requireddepending on the surface and colour.

Radiator paint
Radiator paint is a specialised covering designed to cope with the hot surface of central heating radiators. This paint seems up to the job, and has a fine gloss finish. I should put in a word for the paint department which is excellent- colour mixing in particular is first rate

Goes on nicely but beware of short product life!
This product is lovely and smooth and is a dream to paint with. However, in the container is a little pot of additive, with no instructions on what to do with it. I visited the product's website, which said to add the additive to the paint and stir for 5 mins before use. However, it then said that for maximum product adhesion the paint had to be used within 10 days of adding the additive. There are no instructions about this on the container!!!!

wouldn't use again
followed the instructions to the letter, sanded, degreased, added the additive, used a brand new bristle brush, very poor finish, shows all brush marks, just glides over the areas where there was bare metal, i reckon its going to need at least three coats to cover a white radiator in the white paint, very poor, wont be using again, will try another manufacturer,

Impressive product
So long as you follow the instructions properly this paint gives very good results. I’d never used it before and have to confess I was slightly sceptical about what the results might be. However I was very pleased with how it performed and with the end result. I was careful to follow the instructions and cleaned the radiators thoroughly with sugar soap. I then gave them a very light sand with a fine sanding pad. I added the additive and stirred thoroughly. The paint went on very smoothly and has good adhesion, coverage and opacity. It also has very little smell and quick drying time. I did seven very heavily tarnished radiators with two coats using nearly all of a single tub and the results were excellent. I chose this product because it was for a job in an occupied house with children, and so I wanted something water based, non-toxic, low odour and fast drying to minimise the inconvenience and with minimal mess from sanding and this product met all those requirements. If I had a criticism it is that there is no mention in the instructions, on the packaging or online about what to do with the additive, or even its existance. Given that it is ‘an additive’ I took the linguistic hint and mixed it in and it worked. I presume this is an important part of the product composition without which it won’t work so it is bizarre that there isn’t even any mention of it anywhere. Other than that all good.

Great paint
If you're confused on where the pain is runny you're supposed at 10 mL of additive into the paint so that isn't runny and sticks well

Additive
Comes with a 10ml additive but no instructions for it use. Weird.
