  • For use on Tiles
  • Surface Preparation - Wash the surface with a sodabased or sugar soap (alkaline) cleaner, focusing on the grouting. Ceramic tiles, Wall Tiles, Border Tiles and Glass Bricks: Wash, rinse thoroughly with water then allow to dry. Panelling: Wash, rinse thoroughly with water then allow to dry. Lightly sand with 240 grit sandpaper and remove dust. Tile Grouting: Carefully clean the tile grouting with an abrasive sponge or brush to remove any residual cleaning products or any traces of mould. Remove any silicone sealant before painting. Reseal after application of the paint
  • Instructions for Use - Apply the paint at room temperature between 12 and 25°C and avoid draughts. 1. Empty the additive (the sachet that is placed under the lid of the tin) into the paint. Stir the paint for 5 minutes, working around the bottom of the tin with a wide stick to mix it well. 2. Work on small surfaces. Apply from one end to the other. Follow with successive cross strokes. Do not start 2nd coat while it's still drying. Leave to dry for 6h and apply a 2nd coat in the same way. On horizontal surfaces, the paint has to be covered with the Renovation Worktop Protection. Once the sachet has been added, the mixture must be used within 10 days to maintain optimal adhesion and performance.

Overall a great product

I bought this product to paint my bathroom tiles. It has good adhesion, relatively easy to apply, excellent coverage and hydrophobic properties. The only reason I have given it 4 starts instead of 5 is because despite following the instructions and applying the paint with successive cross strokes. On certain angles and with the correct lighting, differences in the level of Sheen can be visible.

Poor coverage/finish - think twice

Adhesive paint, and it did that. But the coverage is poor and the finish is streaky at best whether using a brush or a gloss roller. Expensive too for what it is. I feel like I should've bought white paint and mixed it with glue and it wouldnt have done a worse job.

Excellent product

I bought this a few weeks ago to paint over checkered wall tiles - it is amazing . The coverage is excellent and rhe finish is fantastic you really wouldn’t know they were painted tiles

Brilliant product

I bought this product last week. I think that it's easy to use, instructions are easy to understand

Bathroom tile paint

This has taken 4 coats on pale tiles, but it has done the job. Of course it is not 100% like actual white tiles. But it’s very nearly there. Exactly what our dire old fashioned tiles needed

Better than I expected

Being honest I didn't have a great expectation with painting tiles, however this covered red and black tiles within 4 coats. It covers well and there's very little splatter. I can't comment on durability, but i tried to remove some from a tile the day after it had dried for test purposes and I can confirm that it dries solid and I think it will prove to be hard wearing. Just make sure you follow the instructions, however I did recoat an hour or so quicker than it recommended and it still turned out fine.

Excellent product.

Really liked the finish of this paint on our bathroom tiles. It covered well and was easy to apply.

The tile paint was spectacular

I recently used B&Q tile paint on my old, tired kitchen tiles, and I’m honestly amazed at the results. The paint went on smoothly, covered really well, and gave the tiles a fresh, clean finish that completely brightened up the whole room. It made such a difference—my kitchen feels like a brand-new space now! I absolutely loved the transformation and would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and affordable way to refresh their tiles.

Tile and wall paint

Better results than I thought. My partner always said to paint the tiles and I dreaded the results. Absolutely worth every bit of prep and money.
