Test out your favourite Valspar colours at home – this sample pot has a matt finish and is suitable for interior walls and ceilings.
- Surface Preparation - For indoor use only. Do not apply in damp or humid conditions. Apply when the temperature of the surface being painted is above 10°C. Glossy surfaces should be deglossed before painting. Repair all damaged areas before painting. Remove old, loose or flaky paint. New, fresh plaster must be sealed with Valspar® Interior Primer & Undercoat prior to painting. Other bare, absorbent surfaces must be sealed with primer or a first coat of this product prior to applying the finishing coat.

Sample is wrong!!
I can totally agree with the below review that the sample is different from the big tins and I wished I read the review before wasting money. Really not impressed with this B&Q! Are you going to supply me a free big tin to now fix my wall?

Good match, greta coverage
Got a scan to match the paint I wanted, first bought a tester which was spot on. Then bought two ten litre tubs. The quality of paint and how it goes on is excellent. It’s the best paint I’ve ever used.

Worth the cost.
Best way to see what the colour is going to look like when on the wall and in different lighting situations. Saves spending more money and time then realising the colour was not as expected.

Fantastic Service
The service I have received from all B&Q staff when being in the paint department has been fantastic. They advised on colours, sheens, qualities etc. Paint really high quality too, only needed 2 coats to top old paint

Good Product
While the product is good, I feel that the cost of the sample pot should be deducted from any subsequent purchase of a larger pot.

Great service
I bought this product last month as a test to help ascertain the exact colour we required, the service and assistance we received from the paint mixer on the Valparaiso counter was really helpful.

Came up light
Used as a sample as I needed a larger area than the dulux testers give but it came up light. I ended up buying dulux and doing the whole room

I would like half sized pots at half price as it gets expensive if you don’t get right colour first time to much paint

Seems good, better value than Dulux
I bought this instead of the more expensive brand, as it was just to cover a small area of wall. The assistant matched it to the colour I wanted, seems good - was just a bit watery at the top, but mixed in well.

Love the colour
Love the colour however I bought b&qs own and was a little bit watery so was quite messy however great coverage and the colour is fresh
