Valspar® Trade Vinyl Matt Walls & Ceilings is a professional, high opacity emulsion. It's washable, providing long-term performance and colours that stay true for years. This water-based formula is quick drying and low splatter, making it both easy to use and to clean up afterwards. It can also be applied in temperatures as low as 2°C, for year-round protection.
- Guarantee - Statutory
- Surface Preparation - New plaster and other bare, absorbent surfaces must be sealed prior to painting. Remove old, loose or flaky paint and repair all damaged areas before painting. The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Glossy surfaces should be deglossed before painting.

Brilliant paint
I tried this paint after it was recommended by a friend. I was quite surprised by the finish, coverage. Its thick, had a long wet edge time and does not splatter like many other paints

Great coverage paint
We’ve painted our entire house in this and it looks amazing. Great coverage and only a couple of coats - and at half the price of some makes!

The worst paint I have ever used
I’m a big valspar fan and I’m not sure what’s happened but this is the worst paint i have ever used.

Covered well
Bought this to use on a ceiling that had not been painted for some years. Painted on well and as the ceiling was bad I didn't try to spread too thinly. The result was good. First coat it came up really well. And didn't look patchy. I will check it again when it's fully dry, and will probably give it a second coat, but have to say I am happy with the initial results.

What’s going on?
Why get rid of the old Valspar trade white and replace it with this, it’s gloopy, has zero flow and the coverage is terrible, it drys ok but is still lappy in certain light.. it’s so boring you get use to a paint then 5 minutes later they’ve changed it again for something nowhere near as good but for the same money
